Chik-fil-A
is an Atlanta based quick service restaurant famous for their chicken
sandwiches. Since its inception in 1946, Chik-fil-A has become the largest
quick-service chicken restaurant chain in the United States. Chik-fil-A is also
known for its iconic “Eat Mor Chikin” advertising campaign. The 21-year old
campaign encourages people to eat more chicken rather than beef and thus
preserving the cow population. To build upon the campaign, Chik-fil-A created
Cow Appreciation Day—a national holiday that celebrates cows and reminds people
how essential they are to the food chain and our everyday lives. This year
Chik-fil-A is celebrating Cow Appreciation day on Tuesday, July 12 and is
inviting customers to dress up in anything cow-like and visit their local
Chik-fil-A franchise. Customers who do will receive a free entrée.
