More Than 45,000 Kids and Adults from the U.S. to Uganda to the UK, Join Forces for the World's Largest Swimming Lesson™ to Raise Awareness About the Vital Importance of Teaching Children to Swim to Prevent Drowning


Summary:

On June 24, the World Waterpark Association put on the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson to raise awareness of the importance of teaching children how to swim to prevent drowning. The event was 24 hours long and spanned the globe. More than 45,000 children participated. Olympic Gold Medalist swimmers Rowdy Gaines and Janet Evans led the effort.
